What Goodall did was really serious because she took someone else's hard work and took credit for it by not citing her sources properly. She didn't realize it wasn't cited properly until she was told something. What I think makes it a little less serious is that she was noted about it and she said she is sorry and that she will discus it on her blog and fix her future editions. Goodall did a lot of research to be able to write this book, but when she was doing research her and her co-writer should have found the cited the sources as they went along. To correct it they need to go back and cite the sources that they used.
To go over the situation that had happened with her writing, and thing that was plagiarized needs to be noted so that she can go back and cite her sources. She did all of the research for her book, and found great things that could help it succeed, but she needed to take note of where each thing that she was using. By doing this, she could have at least gone back to be able to cite her sources, but she didn't so she was caught plagiarizing. To help the situation she was in, Goodall said that she would write about it in her blog and also said how sorry she was. Plagiarism is a serious thing, and even if you think you can get away with it, or you don't notice it most the time you will be caught and could get in serious trouble.

3/25 post 2
Out of the papers that I have written, I am choosing to do my Literary Analysis. I am choosing to do this because writing about the short story will be easier and more enjoyable than any of the other papers, so I feel like it will be better for me to write about that. Writing about the short story I am more likely to want to do and not feel like I'm just trying to hurry and get it done. I think all of my writing could improve, but by working on something that is easier at first then it will make my future papers even better.
As I am fixing things, two main things that I am going to focus on are conventions, and focusing on making sure the body supports the argument, and not telling the story as much, which Dr. D noted. I need to make sure I fix the comma splices, colons, etc. Also, to make sure my formatting is fixed where there was a little problem(stated by Dr. D). Fixing these, I think that the paper will flow a lot better than before. I think that I need to fix this, because by starting with it, it will help me much more later.

I am choosing "Umbrella" by Rihanna. In this song, there is many techniques used. The techniques in this song give it a unique feel and give lots of visual and creation. These techniques give interpretations of many different visuals and feelings. The Umbrella its self is an interpretation in the entire song.
This song uses things like metaphor which shows that the umbrella is used for protection for those who are under it. The theme is that anyone who is under the umbrella is safe and that they will stand together. There is a lot of repetition through out the lines to show that she 'Rihanna' will be there through anything. The speaker in the song is Rihanna.
